The Ballroom Boondoggle

President's Donald Trump's lies about his prosed ballroom is a clear example of why ALL Republics, national, statewide, and local, that parrot Trump's lies and rubber stamps Trump's ridiculous governmental policies must be defeated in 2026 elections.

If you don't know, I have some very good friends who are registered Republicans. The Gantt Report name was even suggested by a Florida Republican, John LaCapra, a former client of All World Consultants, my political consulting firm.

Long time readers of TGR have read newspaper and internet posts that reminded us that America's major political parties are what Maya Angelou said they were, "more alike than unalike".

However, Trump's ballroom boondoggle is a terrible, terrible mistake.

Every week, it seems, Trump lies about the ballroom. The cost of insurrectionist dance hall, where America's worse of the worst citizens can do "Boots on the Ground" dances to a Conway Twitty beat, looks like another Republican scheme to rob the nation's taxpayers.

The ballroom lie began as "no cost to taxpayers", now, Republicans are asking for one billion dollars to pay for "security"

for Trump, the male version of Marie Antoinette.

I can't make this up. Tax dollars to tear down part of the White House and tax dollars to build Trump a presidential juke joint. I wonder if the ballroom will have a stripper pole for the pedophiles that will be invited there?

Mothers, fathers, and children in the United States are struggling to pay for household and personal needs. And the Trump family is using his position as President to swing billion dollar deals based on their kinship to daddy dearest.

I have an old injury that limits my dance moves but I keep trying to do the bachata, a Spanish dance. But no ordinary American citizen will be allowed to step one foot inside Trump's ballroom.

Ku Klux Klansmen, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Storm Troopers, Neo-Nazis, dictators, tyrants and Trump's other loved ones will be in the ballroom doing the Electric slide, trailer park style!

All kidding aside. Trump's behavior is undesired by many members of his political party. Tax dollars are not Trump's personal coins.

Democrats, stand up and speak out. People do not want Democratic talking points. People want Democrats to stand up and fight to stop Trump wrongdoings.

My Republican friends did not vote for Donald Trump in 2024, most of them cast ballots for other parties and candidates, like Green Party or Libertarian candidates.

Trump thinks he is a political pimp who can slap American citizens anytime he wants to.

Let's clap back and slap back at the ballot boxes in 2026!
