Politics and Money

      The year 2026 is moving fast. Before you know it, America’s midterm elections will decide who will represent you in the United States Congress, in some US Senate seats and in several local elections.

        I think billions of dollars will be contributed to candidates and spent by hired and contracted political consultants and staffers.

         Is it just me, or do black candidates feel like highly educated, well trained and very experienced Black political professionals are merely “DEI” political wannabees.

         That was sort of harsh but let me explain where I’m going with this.

          Too many of the lack elected officials that you love believe they can’t win a sack race or a rat race without assistance political exploiters and oppressors.

           Not only in your hometown, or even in your community, the Black politicians in Africa go to France, America, or some other non-African to get advice on how to win from political thieves.”

           What are you writing about Lucius? I’m saying most candidates of African ancestry are hand-picked by political party bosses.

           If you can be “controlled”, you will be considered. Candidates will be told, “We like you better than the other candidates in the predominately Black city or political district. The Democratic or Republican party will give you money, but you must hire who we tell you to hire and spend money with vendors we tell you to spend with.”

           OK, I don’t blame the parties for seeking to control candidates they invest in.

           BUT WE MUST DO THE SAME THING!

           Blacks who are considered “rich” think they have status if they give a million dollars to a political party or a political candidate. Black “Greek” organizations, Black labor unions, and Black businesses give millions to candidates with a smile…..but none of them “earmark” the contributed money or specifically state how they want their contributions spent.

          Tell me, what is wrong with Black sororities that raised a million dollars for a candidate to tell a candidate that Black money should be spent with Black political vendors and Black political professionals.

           No one gets upset when white labor unions say, “every political sign must be printed by a union printer and have a “union bug”, or logo somewhere on the sign.

          Even when a Black elected official has political power, so to speak, they still can’t control how political party money is spent.

           One to three percent of any political campaign budget is a maximum amount of money history says is usually spent with no-white political business. The most recent Democratic candidate for President had over a billion dollars to spend and at least 99% of those dollars were spent with vendors with complexions, like the skin tone of Donald Trump.

     I wrote a proposal that I sent to major political parties over a month ago and got zero response.

      Blacks will be asked to “volunteer” while non-Blacks get paid very high salaries and the Blacks can’t even volunteer until after most of the money has been spent on bad TV ads.

       The exploitation of Blacks in local, national and international political campaigning is very widespread.

        Major political organizers love Black and white college student body presidents. Despite their reputable educational achievements, they must control their own campaigns and political purchasing transactions.

         If they don’t, political exploitation and oppression will last forever.
