Political Colonialism

Malcolm X's personal and political philosophy was based on Black Nationalism. Burkina Faso leader, Ibrahim Traore, is speaking about African nationalism right now.

African Americans, in my opinion, have always gravitated toward "progress" but they have chosen the paths designed, or ordered, by their oppressors and exploiters.

A "carpet bagger" is a opportunistic outsider who travels to a community outside of his own neighborhood with the aim of exploiting the local population or situation for personal, political, or financial gain.

Carpet bagging is what happens in political cycles every election year.

In past election years, the federal, state, and local districts created by state Republicans, and was supported by officials elected by Black voters, created "conservative and liberal districts".

The GOP politicians during reapportionment went to Black elected officials and said, "We will create more Black Congressional seats for Blacks and more legislative seats, if you support our plan."

What the Republicans did was create "snake-like" districts that took Black voters out of local and geographical districts to make white Democrats have to win seats without the Democratic Black base voters.

Well, more Blacks were elected to Congress and state legislatures but Congress and state legislatures now had Republicans in power to do the things they desired to do.

Now, any Black elected official in a district with a majority of registered Black voters will win easily.

So, what do the political parties do now? They decided. if we can't beat them, we'll control them!"

This brings us back to Malcolm X. Malcolm said, "Black people should control the economics and POLITICS of Black communities!

In 2026, that's not happening!

There is more political carpet bagging going on in Black communities than ever before!

I was born in the morning but not this morning. Political parties tell Black candidates they will help the office seekers. However, are required to spend money donated by Black supporters to non-Black advisors, consultants, and professionals.

A white multi-millionaire will donate $100,000 to a political party and say, "My grandson needs a job. I want the Party to hire him."

Well, the grandson lives in Idaho, has zero political campaign experience, and is deployed by a political party to assist a Black candidate in a Black urban district in Florida.

This political exploitation goes on nationwide. You tell me, what Black in Congress has a all-Black campaign team working for votes in a predominately Black district? Is in Jeffries, is it Meeks, is it ?Williams, is it Clyburn?

All Black elected officials are qualified to serve but no Black man or woman will be hired by any candidate in a political purchasing position.

We are in an age of political colonialism. Black Americans can't generate votes, can't produce and place media, can't motivate and inspire voters, and can't deliver voters to polling places.

It's like saying the "white" water at the segregated bus station fountain is better than the "colored" water fountain in the same place.

God willing, one day Black voters will ask ALL CANDIDATES to "name all of the Black professionals and Black businesses you've hired to do campaign work".

Back in the day, slaves and ex-slaves, couldn't vote. Today Blacks can cast ballots but they can only vote for who the modern day carpetbaggers tell Blacks to vote for, the candidates that support white political control over Black candidates.

Our people are experiencing political colonialism and too many of us are maintaining slave mentalities that should have been discarded 400 years ago!

I know some people don't like for me to write like this but I have to. TGR is about truth.

Now that Republicans are deleting districts represented by Blacks in Congress, it's a problem. When candidates delete, ignore, and discredit Black political professionals or aspiring political professionals, it's cool.

We must decide to help each other and hired each other in all areas.

Democrats cannot retake control of Congress and state legislatures without the support of Black voters. If Black millionaires, Black labor unions, Black organizations, and Black voters stop making political contributions. The jig will be up!
