One of my best friends in life was Imam Muhammed Siddeeq. Siddeeq named me "Abdul Haqq" and he guided me spiritually even though Islam was not my faith of choice.

Muhammed Siddeeq wrote the foreword in my second TGR book, "Beast Too: Dead Man Writing". In the foreword Siddeeq described me as "Lucius, the light".

At the time, I didn't comprehend his description but as I asended spiritually, I found and understood my friend's comments.

On a side note, Minister Louis Farrakhan traveled to Tallahassee, Florida to speak to Brother Siddeeq about joining him in the formation of the new Nation of Islam.

Siddeeq told Farrakhan, "I will tell you the same thing you told Malcolm X, I'm staying where I am." (If you don't know, one of Siddeeq's daughters was married to Imam W.D. Muhammad, a son of Elijah Muhammad.)

I've always had good relations with all believers in the Most High regardless of their faith choices.

But I could never figure out why many people practice the Islamic faith but never discuss the relationships between Muslims and the slavery of African people.

Historically speaking, Muslim slave owners and traders existed 100s of years before slavery in America.

Hmmm? Blacks in America continue to suffer from "slavery mentality" but chattel slavery ended in the United States and was replaced by mental and economic slavery.

I wish I could get my Muslim friends to join me in opposing modern day slavery being practiced in places like Asia and Arab nations.

The first man on earth was a Black man. The first religion was a Black religion, and the first example and description of the Most High was represented as a Black man.

Bible thumpers, likewise, skirt right over verses that discuss slavery in the Holy Book.

I'm nobody special, but I don't like it!

I'm opposed to slavery anywhere and everywhere! The Gantt Report will tell the truth about slavery and I don't care which religious groups perpetrate and perpetuate slavery and slave traders.

In Africa, I admire what Burkina Faso leaders Ibrahim Traore and other Muslim leaders of African nations are doing 100 percent.

I support the programs of the NOI that benefit Muslims and non-Muslims.

But my job is not to minister or preach a gospel.

All I do is stay in my lane and my lane in the TRUTH!
