Leave Black Media Women Alone

The Gantt Report is the strongest Black media voice in the world. I encourage President Donald Trump to refrain from disrespecting Black female, and male, media professionals who are merely doing their jobs.

MAGA members know who I am. Supremacists know who I am and insurrectionists know my name!

No journalist has stood up, stepped forward, and criticized Presidential misconduct more than TGR.

I'm not having anyone disrespect the professionalism, the investigations and the exposing of brutal truths about the horrors our people have faced for hundreds of year by Black women in media. My favorite Black female journalist was Ida B. Wells. Ida reminds me of myself. Ida could not be controlled. Ida would tell and report the truth no matter who liked or disliked the facts of any situation.

Ida was not just a journalist, she was an investigative journalist, a sociologist, an educator, and one of the founders of the NAACP.

Ida was nothing to play with. She was serious about her calling an her inspiration voice and media work.

President Trump is a media idiot who has no clue who Ida Wells was or the fact the Ms. Wells was a registered member of the Republican Party, as was many Black leaders and activists were back in those days.

Let me talk about Lucius and women in media. Women, of all races, had prominent status and positions in radio, television, political consulting, advertising, public relations, and other areas where I had media control.

Beryl Roberts, Jo Miglino, Chery Oglesby, Sharon Gilmore, and others not only worked for me, most also were stringers for national networks like NPR.

I grew up with Black women, I had two sisters and I have two daughters. I will fight for the women in my family, the women in my community and the women in my profession.

The President is just a hater. He will hire Black women and fire the women at the drop of a klansman's cone hat!

Now, the current Black women in media "control" the Black media organizations like the NNPA, NABJ, and similar groups.

No problem with me but TGR respects the media groups that respect TGR.

It is easy for me to opine about the greatness of Black women in media but the Black women in media don't want The Gantt Report in their newspapers, don't want Lucius Gantt on their podcasts and other media shows, and women in media are afraid as hell to appear on theganttreporttruth.com platform.

You see, I don't write for anyone's validation or approval. I seek clarity, authenticity, and truth!

I don't even attempt to write columns that people like, I write about the truth whether people like TGR or not!

Sisters, there is no media battle between Black men and women. Let's unite, work together, and help each other.

Brothers, join me in recognizing the brave Black women who are not afraid to stand up to a devil in the White House.

Black media women, if you need my assistance, do not hesitate to contact me.

Perhaps, God is a Black female media professional!

Thank you for your support and love for the TRUTH!
