I Love My Jewish Friends

I was a basketball player on my high school team. We traveled all over the state of Georgia to play the best, and worst, teams in the Peach State.

Whenever our team walked into an opponent's gymnasium, I could hear the words "Hebrew High" being shouted in our vicinity.

Yes, my school was predominately Jewish. Only seven Black students were in my graduating class.

Today, there are mixed feelings about Jews, in America and around the world.

Before you read any further, let me tell you, do not touch or come for my former classmates that showed me love. I will defend and protect Arva, Joy, Bennett, Barry and others who showed the little Black boy from Buttermilk Bottom that he was welcomed at the school.

I spent more time with whites that had backgrounds similar to mine. I played several other sports and spent more time with my teammates. Art Brannen and Larry Enlow, both white but not Jewish, were road boys.

Today, the world is in a financial crisis because of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister. The Israeli military always finds countries and people to attack to keep the Prime Minister in office and out of jail for alleged wrongdoings. Wars cause price jumps.

Understood. But, tell me why Netanyahu appears to order Donald Trump around? If Uncle Ben tells Trump to spend American tax dollars to bomb Iran because Iran has nuclear weaponry that no ordinary citizens of Israel or America has ever seen or touched. Trump will do it.

Remember "Weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq?

I'm not a Catholic, but the Pope is correct. Peace is the answer. Haile Selassie was on point when he said, "Until the philosophy that holds one race superior and another inferior is discredited and abandoned", there will be war!

Palestine is gone, destroyed by the Iraeli military strikes. Lebanon has been occupied. Iran has been warned, it's civilization may be devastated!

I admire Israeli intelligence. They know what Donald Trump did with Epstein. They know where African minerals and resources are located. Jewish money funds Black civil rights groups and many so-called Black religious and community leaders. Movies have been made about Israeli intelligence expertise.

I wrote all of this to say, millions of people across the globe love people who read the Tora and practice Judaism.

At the same time, we disagree with unnecessary attacks that kil innocent women, children, and babies.

We can love Jewish people and our Jewish friends but I, and others, hate "stay in office" bombing attacks in civilian areas of any country.

More than a few Jews died while helping our ancestors fight for equal rights. I and my people recognize and appreciate that.

Netanyahu didn't support our struggle and we shouldn't support his wars.

Finally, the school I graduated from was "Henry Grady High School". That school helped make me the man I am today. Yolanda King attended Grady too. She was a freshman when I was a senior.

Henry Grady was one of America's most famous white supremacists. The high school name was changed but the name of Atlanta's most iconic hospital was not!

Atlanta is still ran by people like Henry Grady was and I don't care who the city's political bosses are.
