Drama and Stress

It's December 2025 and I want to wish the TGR family and friends happy holidays.

I support everyone's celebratory spirit and encourage everyone to enjoy themselves and

their loved ones.

People who know me know that I really don't do holidays. ,My children prefer to celebrate holidays with their mothers, step-dads, and step-families.

No problem. I wish everybody well. My friends invite me to holiday dinners, and I appreciate that, but I'm not a big eater, and I'm not a big drinker, and eating and drinking are things that happen at some parties.

Along with the good times and holiday fun, some times there is holiday drama and stress.

No matter what day it is, holiday or regular day, someone in your circle will find something or someone to complain about.

You know it. We all have family members, friends, coworkers or others who can't be positive for a day or a week.

Some people wake up every day looking for something or someone to criticize, demean, or order around. "Why are you going to work? I want you to spend the week with me," Sounds sweet, but if you don't go to work, the comment changes to, "Why are you so broke?"

Tell me, why do you have to complain about holiday food? If you don't like the mac and chees or potato salad, don't eat it. Why do you hate Christmas songs by Ella Fitzgerald or Mariah Carey but love The Chipmunks Luther Vandross? Every family member and friend has their own favorite holiday music.

Trust me, normally some cussing and fussing will take place, but please don't let things escalate into scratches and fisticuffs. People are quick to blame misconduct on alcohol, or the gangster weed.

Try to show friends and family love this holiday season. Invite family you haven't seen in a while. Share a toast with a friend who needs your love and support, and leave your drama and stress at home this year.

I may be lonely but I'll still be writing. I'm close to the end of my road. I have no plan to take my final journey but, I do want to do things for Lucius sometimes.

It's hard out here for truth-tellers. So, celebrate for me and enjoy a drama free and stress free holiday!
