Creeping With The Enemies

      I practice and support freedom of speech. At the same time, Lies are not free. The people of the world need to pay for every misrepresentation that is made and every piece of information that is false.

       In 2025, it appears as though most Black Americans get the information they use from social media. Our people love Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and similar platforms.   print

      Back in the day, most Black people got their news from Black newspapers and magazines. All of the lynchings, hangings, burnings, and other atrocities were covered by Black journalists. A copy of Ebony, Jet, The Atlanta World, Pittsburgh Courier, Chicago Defender, or another publication for Black readers was on almost every coffee table in Black homes.

       Over time, most Black media companies diminished or disappeared.

       Today, there are millions of Black residents in the United States have never seen a Black print media publication. TV and radio shows owned and produced by Blacks get viewership but are stifled by minimal distribution. Even BET is not available in more than a few states.

         I, and some others, who utilize digital platforms, do not get the followers, subscribers, comments, recognition, and support that others get.

         Some of the social media podcasters and influencers you may love are merely digital robbers who steal content, steal photos, steal styles, and repost information provided by our enemies.

          I live the life. I can’t speak for all Black media people, but TGR has been truth-telling for decades. I’ve been threatened by white supremacist groups for telling the truth, I’ve lost professional contracts for telling the truth, and like many Black “heroes”, I’ve spent time in jail for telling the truth!    

          I don’t know how long I’ll be writing the truth, but I can’t write forever. A good writer knows when to adjust. Writing like everything else, is expensive, I have to research what I opine about, I continue to have to upgrade my writing equipment, I have to pay for internet security because crooks and hackers are all over the internet, and, more importantly, I’m at a point in life where I desire to do things I’ve always wanted to do for myself.

      The biggest Black money-makers on the internet have tremendous support. They get advertising revenue, they get financial support from people who will pay podcasters and influencers to lie, and they get praised  and coddled by people who love the Black journalists who will parrot nationalists, and supremacists.

       We all have a role in the fight for Black progress and Black survival, but we should delegate our roles instead of allowing our exploiters to determine who among us has value and who in our community is worthless.  

       For those who don’t know, TGR is 100% original, no copying, no post stealing, no political talking points by any party, and no fear of being killed literally or figuratively.

       I’ve tried my best to serve the TGR family with honesty and integrity. I know the “game”, but I have no intention or desire to see our people down the river.

        I recognize our oppressors who pretend to be our friends, act like they love and support us, they convince us they are our “comrades”, while they gerrymander Black political districts, deport Black and brown people, suppress our votes, and work every day to ban our books and limit our progress.

       I have a habit of going to sleep and waking up at the same time nearly every day

       However, Lucius will never creep or sleep with our enemy!
